SENECA-NEWNHAM TAKES OVER TOP SPOT

Despite an OT loss in the final of the U of T Scarborough tournament, Seneca-Newnham has taken over top spot in the latest Power Ratings.  Seneca has appeared in the finals of all three tournaments they have entered, winning their own Seneca Invitational, and sport a 9-1-1-3 record.   Durham falls to #2 after a semi-final loss at Conestoga, a tourney at which they went 1-2.
Moving up the ladder are Conestoga and Georgian-Barrie.  Conestoga vaulted six places after winning their own tournament, while Georgian-Barrie has moved up two spots after their U of T Scarborough title run.

With three wild card spots up for grabs for the Challenge Cup,  Fleming-Lindsay,  Georgian-Orillia and Trent are currently in position to take them, with Humber North and George Brown on the outside looking in.

There are only two Challenge Series tournaments left before the Challenge Cup.  Winners will automatically qualify.
